I had to go away last week, so it was two weeks between visits and it was certainly all coming together when I went to the house on Saturday. The lights and fans were being installed, painting was completed (baring a few touch ups), the showers and toilets were installed, kitchen sink installed, the stained glass had been replaced by Harkaway, chimneys were up, the gas connection was done, fences on both sides replaced and base boards painted. The pressed metal splashbacks had still not be installed and the ensuite pressed metal has not had the dado rails installed.

When good service turns out to be bad service!
We finally have the gas connected today, which was expected to be the thing that held us up, but wait……. there’s more. The re-powder coating of our pressed metal splash backs has gone awry again. The colour recommended to us by Period Details can’t be done. Why was it recommended if it couldn’t be done?! And why has it taken so long to tell us?! The turn around time to re-powder coat was supposed to be 1 week – 3 weeks ago! I am PISSED OFF! That is NOT good customer service, and Period Details won’t be getting any more of my business!
I’m away from home at the moment, so hubby has had to choose a new colour. This colour is also from a range of Dulux colours recommended by Period Details, so let’s hope they can get this one right!
Bedroom 3 complete
Oscar’s room is now complete. He was quite chuffed that his room was completed before ours.
