Ceiling Fans

We have chosen all of our ceiling fans.  In the end it was quite easy.  We started off looking at Australian Lighting, Beacon Lighting, etc. but none of their fans suited the period style areas of our home.  We found Universal Fans online and they had a number of styles that looked interesting so I popped into their showroom for a quick look a few weeks ago, then went back this week with hubby and bought all our fans, including the modern ones.

For the two fans in the living area (meals and family) we have the Fanimation Windpointe Ceiling Fan With 5 Long (91cm) Blades – antique bronze body and cherry blades.  The same fan will also be used on the rear deck, but with shorter (76cm) blades.

The fans in the living area will have a set of 3 lights beneath them, also in antique brass.

The outdoor fan will have a plain light beneath it.

The fan in the master bedroom is a Hunter Savoy Ceiling Fan – Traditional Style (132cm) in antique bronze with a Scavo bowl light.  The bowl matches the style of the hallway lights.

For the Bedroom 3 and the Study we chose the Fanco Urban 2 Ceiling Fan in white with a LED light.

The 2nd bedroom will also have a ceiling fan, but we will be using one that we salvaged from the old house.
