Fitout Progressing

Despite our minor set backs and water damage, there has been some visible progress this week.

Picture Rails are going up:

Walls – Skirting Boards and Picture Rails

Among the many decisions we have had to make this week is the skirting boards and picture rails that we want.  In our specification for builders to quote on we had asked for 92mm Colonial or similar skirting boards, however our builder allowed for taller skirting boards so we have chosen from the Australian Moulding Company:

  • 200 mm for the period featured areas ( entrance-Hallway, master bedroom, ensuite, bathroom, family, meals-kitchen area) – F28
  • 120 mm for the other rooms – F8

Picture rails will go into the  entrance way, hallway, master bedroom, family, meals-kitchen area –  PR3.

Update: after the wrong skirting was delivered and installed in the main period areas we decided to keep it.
