An Ikea Kitchen!

Well no, our kitchen isn’t from Ikea but we did make a surprising find last weekend.  We have been talking to our builder’s cabinet maker about the kitchen, butler’s pantry and laundry.  One of the decisions we needed to make was the sink in the kitchen.  A ceramic sink was our preference, but they are very expensive.  The cabinet maker told us he had seen one in Ikea, and it looked good.  I was a bit skeptical.  I do like Ikea products, but didn’t think they would have anything that would suit our period style kitchen; but I was pleasantly surprised.  The sink was exactly what we wanted, and at $249 it fit the budget as well!

While at Ikea we also decide to use a sliding drawer to place the bins under the sinks in the pantry and kitchen.
