An Aerial View

A colleague at work has access to a system that provides aerial photographs.  He looked up our property and this is what he found – a pictorial story board of our journey from above!  The one in January was just days before demolition, and the September 2014 photo 10 days before hand over.

 What an amazing find!

Going…..Going……..Gone!

Inspite of the heat wave in Melbourne the salvage continued. I’m very happy that so much has been saved and will be reused or recycled. The roof joists were taken, and most of the floor boards. When Oscar saw the photos of the remants of his bedroom he thought it was “awesome!”

The machines arrived on site at 7am this morning (the neighbours were warned not to hang their washing out!) and by 2pm it was all done and dusted.
